I’ve already hinted about one of my many New Years resolutions — to create a killer crocheted apron — and thought I’d share another one with you: to bake pie pops. We’ve all heard of the cake pop, an imaginatively decorated morsel of cupcake on a stick, but have you heard of it’s pie-shaped sister? For the longest time now I’ve stared at Martha Stewart’s pie-crust recipe with the full intention of baking tons, but lack of mouths to feed squashed me from fulfilling that wish. However, 2012 is the year of doing shit you want to do (after all, the world might end! Just kidding!), and these mini-pies shall be baked and eaten! If you want this to be your pie pop year, as well, bake them along with me and share your results. But, if you just wish to indulge in a bite-size pie on a stick, then head over to Cake Walk Deserts and purchase the adorable sweets.
‘Tis the season to make resolutions and goals for the looming new year. While I’ve started compiling a list of to-dos in my head, I thought I’d share one of them with you. After crocheting for nearly ten years now, it seems like the time — actually, it probably was the time five years ago, but I digress — to explore fashioning adorbs clothing out of yarn. I’m kind of in love with this apron by Olivia Royale, so for 2012 the first project will be to make my own version of a crocheted apron — fun! Sharing is caring, so what creative goals do you guys have for the new year?
