Katey Jean Partner In Crime

Jul 5th

Prefaced as “a short story about having a crap time,” Katey Jean Harvey’s Partner In Crime follows a lonely, moody girl as she hangs out with a boy, cries alone, falls asleep, and goes to a costume party.  Like most of the London-dwelling artist’s work, the four-piece illustrated story is peppered with scrawled sentences, awash with muted hues and is narrative-based, following its protagonist as she sulks in various settings.  Check out Ms. Katey Jean’s somber, yet bizarrely cute mini-series after the jump.
