Lately, we’ve become mesmerized by the cactus — it’s such a strange beautiful plant with sharp points and colorful blossoms jutting out.  Italy-dwelling crafter Mariella Vitale seems to be taken by them, too, as she has created a lovely collection of miniature cacti and succulents.  Standing at nearly three centimeters tall, the petite faux-plants are crocheted and placed in little terracotta planters ready to adorn window sills and shelves.  If you’re as inspired by cacti as we are, swoon over the collection below, and head on over to Ms. Vitale’s Etsy for the patterns.
