Charlotte Caron Portraits

Jun 22nd

In her series, Portraits, French artist Charlotte Caron closes the gap between humanity and wildlife through painted stills.  Each photograph is transformed with a mask-like painting over the subjects’ faces that bleeds over the medium, unveiling our inner animalistic tendencies and blurring the lines between those on two legs and those on four. Caron’s work in Portraits is just mesmerizing, and you can get a closer look at a few favorites after the jump.
