Things We’re Inspired By This Week

Apr 20th

This week, we learned how to fashion whimsical paper-mâché teacups, fell in love with vintage straw hats, decided we needed to bake ombré cakes for everyone we know, had our heart-strings pulled at by “Caine’s Arcade,” found a few adorable ways to wear French braids, and swayed along to The Mynabirds.  Page through the rest of our little diary after the jump. xo.

Nirvan Mullick’s short documentary on Caine — an imaginative nine year old boy who creates a working cardboard arcade in his father’s auto-parts shop — is insanely touching and inspirational. We may or may not have shed a tear — such a beautiful story!

Finally, this lovely Zombies song covered by The Mynabirds.
