Lolley’s Magical Fox Shadowbox

Kathleen Lolley’s unique, rustic paintings have stolen our heart with their dark, sepia-washed color scheme, forest settings, and entanglement of nature and humanity. Recently, the Louisville-stationed painter showcased another artistic ability — cut-paper shadowboxes. Like her paintings, the Forest Magic Shadowbox creates an underlying narrative through masterfully created, recycled-paper-figures of a red-hooded fox with a bunch of petite owls flocking to him. Head on over to Lolley’s Etsy for a closer look, and have a peek at her gorgeous paintings, screen-printed pillows and crystal necklaces while you’re there.
